Why is the US government not giving us the Xenon cloud forecast which is significant in terms of dosages released?

I feel the same way! Why?! Somebody posted at www.zerohedge.com that lack of info. has more to do with preserving the Nikkei (Japan's Stock market)(use 'Japan' or 'Fukushima' in their search engine)The last thing any country, including the US needs is mass panic because it negatively impacts any economy. The only thing you can do is obtain your own equipment to know for sure and realize that since variables exist and unknowns to no antidotes for ionizing radiation exposures exist the dependence of government decision making is likely on crudely arrived statistical probabilities of perhaps no more than (FOR EXAMPLE) 10 percent of a given population in the form of victims of things such as cancers and deaths 10 to 20 years after exposure for example as 'acceptable' but not enough to cripple a nation. It also makes a load of sense why now vs. 40 years ago you hear of weird things like 20 year olds with or dying from melanomas or others in relatively young people like kidney cancers, pancreatic cancers, leukemias (of course), bone cancers etc... Breast cancer, Prostate and colon cancer too, you gotta wonder and realize that perhaps a greater portion of these are a result of living in the 'post atomic bomb and bomb testing age' with all of the fallout that has and is contaminating everything.

Also, KI pills (Potassium Iodide pills)130 to 170 mg. per day or Prussian Blue (a separate more multiple radionucleide exposure preventive known and historically used by industry and military) are only to be taken in the medically recommended preventive dosage for no more than 2 weeks because beyond that you will permanently damage your thyroid so don't even bother. KI pills at prescription dose are only to be taken if there is a way to evacuate from the source, a temporary prescription if there ever was one and proof that medical science has no preventive outside of getting away from it. I have read though that if your daily diet is already rich in iodine carrying foods (seaweed, potatoes etc.)there is a small protective effect from naturally occurring iodine already in your thyroid. Note: iodized salt will not and is not a preventive (too little iodine in it to begin with.)

The worst part is that without a geiger counter/dosimeter you cannot see or necessarily feel it (certainly those in the direct presence of enough of it will feel it) but definitely if it is in the air and water we won't see, feel or taste it which is scary in and of itself.
