Can you imagine if all the nuclear reactors in the world would have a meltdown?

I was just thinking the following scenario:
What would we do if all the nuclear reactors on the world would have a meltdown?
It could extinct the human rice. Although unlikely that this will happen, it is not completely impossible. A serious of strong eearthquakes at critical points could cause it. Very scary.

A carrington event/ EMP. A

A carrington event/ EMP. A shift of the earth's axis (It's happened before). Another world war with buildings being bombed. But I know, that's impossible because it's fear mongering. Don't worry, nuclear power is the way, nevermind that Nikola Tesla guy.

all it would take is an EMP

all it would take is an EMP

What would we do if a 30

What would we do if a 30 mile wide asteroid were on a collision path with earth? Please keep the fear mongering to some other site...

30-mile-wide-asteroid coming

30-mile-wide-asteroid coming toward earth is not a result of human activities, nor can it be controlled by human.

The same cannot be said about nuclear reactors. So I don't think the analogy is appropriate. Therefore you need to come up with something else -- something that is created by man and if go wrong can kill off everything on earth. Got anything?

Here's something

Everyone everywhere gets in a car or a plane or a boat and all of them crash at the same time.

Which would also be orders

Which would also be orders of magnitude more likely than all nuclear reactors melting down at the same time.

Wow

I agree totally. That would be bad.
