Are soyproducts safe?

Hello:

I am wondering whether soyproducts are safe now? Are they produced in the US or can they come from Japan? Can the iodine 131 and cesium get into soy?

I don't know about radioactivity, but almost all soy grown in the U.S. is genetically modified, unless it is organic. GMO soy causes various health problems. Please only eat organic soy.
