question regarding agriculture/farming
Firstly, THANK YOU for providing this forum. I can't tell you how much I appreciate what y'all are doing here.
I have a small farm in a different region of the US (southeast) raising vegetables, some fruit trees, and goats for milk and cheese. What are the precautions that I should consider for bringing my goods to market and/or table? Assuming that we have seen the peak of contamination, and that releases either stay constant or decline over the next several months, when will my produce (especially the goats' milk) be safe? Is there any sort of remediation that can be done to reduce the levels of radiation absorbed by crops and hoofstock?
I understand if the question is outside of the scope of your studies... but y'all seem to be the only ones coherently answering the public at this point... Thanks and best wishes
