How can we help?
I cannot even begin to adequately express my gratitude for the Department of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley.
I live close to Berkeley, and I'm sure that many others here do as well. Is there anything we can do to help? Please let us know if there is!
Thank You!

Questions
First off, yes thank you for fielding all of these questions! You rock.
So from what I understand, the first detection of any radiation in Calif was the 16th. Logically, that means that for 2 weeks straight now we have been exposed to the Iodide 131, in low levels,as we are told. What concerns me is,
A) There has never been a radiation accident with the duration of constant exposure to low levels of Iodide 131 as this one is becoming. So I don't feel that in all honesty that anyone can say that this is not harmful to our health with any degree of certainty or in good conscience. Has this isssue been discussed or addressed to your knowledge?
B) Has there been any cumulative totals on the isotopes from the 16th-present?
Thank you

Actually, we could try to
Actually, we could try to adequately express our gratitude - by supporting our (too-humble-to-mention-it) Cal scientists and students financially. The website is easy to find, a simple web search would suffice.
