University of Tokyo now has a radiation measurement website up, FYI
In case this might be helpful to you, I'm sending quick word that NHKWorld.com just ran on its tickertape that the University of Tokyo now has a website up posting radiation levels. For the direct link, Google University of Tokyo, on its homepage see center column, line 2, look for Environmental Radiation Information.
In Japan a brigade of geiger counter volunteers is linked together and displaying readings on a map found at ; other citizen graphs and charts for data in Japan can be found at ; .
I am VERY GRATEFUL for what you are all doing! I hope you all have enough coffee and sandwiches to eat and are getting a chance to rest now and then? (I felt terrible to hear last week that the heroic workers in Fukushima Daiichi were working without food.) Do you need anything practical done? Believe me, I will drop what I am doing to help your team in any way I can.
Can't sleep. I will now say my Buddhist prayers for the world. Namaste.
