Sea Water Testing

Thank you again for your excellent work and website.
Will you be testing the sea water to see what levels of radioactive isotopes are there? For instance, off the Golden Gate Bridge, and in San Francisco Bay, Berkeley Marina?
Thank you

Possibly, but we are more

Possibly, but we are more focused on the following pathways:

rain --> runoff --> reservoir --> tap water --> human

rain --> vegetation --> milk --> human

Dr I read this on fallout

Dr I read this on fallout would this pertain to current situation?sorry to waste your time.
After Bravo, it was discovered that fallout landing on the ocean disperses in the top water layer (above the thermocline at 100 m depth), and the land equivalent dose rate can be calculated by multiplying the ocean dose rate at two days after burst by a factor of about 530. In other 1954 tests, including Yankee and Nectar, hotspots were mapped out by ships with submersible probes, and similar hotspots occurred in 1956 tests such as Zuni and Tewa [2] However, the major U.S. 'DELFIC' (Defence Land Fallout Interpretive Code) computer calculations use the natural size distributions of particles in soil instead of the afterwind sweep-up spectrum, and this results in more straightforward fallout patterns lacking the downwind hotspot.

other suggestions

rain --> vegetation --> human

rain --> sea water --> seafood --> human

Would these be lower priority bc there would probably be a lower concentration in vegetation and seafood than in tap water/milk?

Thanks again!

Cows will give us a good

Cows will give us a good idea of the vegetation pathway using milk. They are very good at concentrating the elements into the milk.

I expect sea water to be very dilute. We will need to understand the runoff pathway first then we can make an estimate on sea water, (most likely bay water).

sea vegetables as important as other veggies

We are all being advised to eat lots of kelp, and we know that seaweed in Vancouver, BC has been contaminated since the crisis in Japan began. I would appreciate someone testing sea water, as well as sea vegetables.
