Question on air monitoring calculations

Please help me with how you have calculated the Bq/L to number of years required to breathe the contaminated air to get the same amount of radiation as round-trip cross country air travel.

Specifically, how are you converting from Liters to years. What is the number of liters of air we breathe per year? We can easily convert from dose rate to number of liters of water; but I don't know how many liters of air we breathe per year?

Somewhere on the web I read that we breathe 11,000 liters of air every day - does that sound right?
