Spring Break

I just want to take this chance to express my gratitude to the graduate and undergraduate student volunteers of the BRAWM team. Everyone may not know, but this is spring break here at Berkeley and this is normally a week of rest and a time to catch up with work and sleep for most students. Some have significant projects and homework sets to complete over this usually light week. These students have worked tirelessly to collect and prepare samples, analyze data, and post results. They are truly the best and brightest and every one of them are motivated to serve.

Dedication during Spring Break

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! As so many others have expressed, you have been our virtual life line. I check into this site several times a day and hang on every single word and test result from your team. We all recognize your smarts, credibility and integrity.

Going forward, all of you will have a brilliant future in your chosen field and I know that everyone who depends upon this site wishes the BRAWN team members all their future success.

As we watch the usual Spring Break media coverage of college kids whooping it up on sunny beaches with a bottle in one hand, we will note the much less glamorous Spring Break of this dedicated group of Berkeley students and educators.

Gee, I hope that, at the very least, all of you get in a few good pizza breaks!

Dr. Chivers, if there is any way to contribute to a "pizza fund" for all of you, let us know!

With Much Gratitude

A heartfelt thank you to all members of the BRAWM Team, for your dedication, support, caring and integrity! The level of information, responsiveness, and feedback that you have provided us has not been matched anywhere else and we are truly grateful.

I'm a mom of two kids, a six year old girl and a nine year old boy. They are everything to me. Truthfully, if weren't for them, I probably would not have taken all this too seriously. But as a parent, if it weren't for a few great sites like yours, and especially yours, I don't know if I could have stayed very calm through all this. I have learned so much, and in so doing. I truly understand that knowledge is power. You have armed me with hard facts and information and have empowered me to make my own personal decisions on how to to care for myself and my family during this crisis.

I am not an eloquent writer and so many others on this forum have expressed themselves far better than me , but I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude to the BRAWM team for being of service.

Thank you and God bless you and family,
T.O. Mom

oh wow....

you can definitely add my thanks to all, particularly taking time away from Spring Break, which is always important for catching up with other work, etc.

Yes thanks again!

Yes thanks again! I'm sure it is difficult to publish these results and answer questions. Explaining these concepts and illustrating risk for members of the public with vastly different backgrounds seems to be quite difficult. Thank you for your exceptional transparency in publishing your raw data and methodology.

I personally have learned a lot reading the test results and the forums. Hats off to you Kai Vetter, Daniel Chivers, Brian Plimley and the rest of the team.
