Perhaps the Nuclear Engineering department could describe their thoughts on the causes of the neutron beans observed at Fukushima. The question has remained unanswered on a physics forum elsewhere. There is conflicting information on the web.

What could be causing these?

What are the implications?

Can we expect more?

What are the beams releasing into the atmosphere?
