NE Undergrad Hi Vo Receives 2016 Fuel Cycle Research Award

Hi Vo, a senior in Nuclear Engineering and Materials Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley, has been awarded a prize in the Innovations in Fuel Cycle Research Awards sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Fuel Cycle Technologies. Vo’s award is in the Undergraduate Competition.

2016 Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp is Underway!

Twenty-five students from nine countries have come to UC Berkeley to participate in the 2016 Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp from August 1 - August 12, 2016.  The students are being trained in entrepreneurship and nuclear-specific concerns beyond standard university education and will put that training to use through team design projects.  The five teams of students will present their project
