What's going on in Bakersfield??

Please take a look at this website which shows real time radiation levels in the major cities.

Radiation level have been surging in the Bakersfield and Fresno areas since Thanksgiving time. It made me wonder where it's coming from either Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant or Japan.

I heard that Tokyo and other major cities in Japan are burning radioactive contaminated rubble from the Fukushima area which releases 33 times concentrated radioactivity into the atmosphere.

What do you think?

Thank you for the information.
I live near the southern part of Diablo Canyon and I'm really concerned about the high levels of radioactivity and the sudden radioactive surge. The temperature in this area has been around 75 degrees, and if the cause is the inversion phenomena, then I don't have to worry about the nuclear reactors...I have to worry about earthquakes! Looks like I can't win!

I took a look and here's some thoughts, FWIW....

Does Bakersfield have an inversion? I know that Reno gets inversion bad, and they have similar looking charts, very spiky. I wonder if it is radon daughters building up due to inversion?

Check out the coastal cities like San Fran...flat as can be. Of course those areas get fresh air every day, and it's always winds in SF.
