The American Association for the Advancement of Science hosts a discussion with Nuclear Regulatory Commission Chairman Gregory Jaczko on how U.S. nuclear plant operators can prevent the kind of accident that caused some reactors at the Fukushima plant.
It struck me when Jackzo is asked if Fukushima will finally be the definitive case study of exposure and long term increase in cancer risk he replies us nuke workers would be the best case study for the correlation of cancer and low dose exposures since us workers have the most extensive database and even he's surprised and wonders why these study's have not been done.
