OK...here is something to
OK...here is something to think about. All municipal water sources must test their water supply every so often and publish the results. They look for lead, arsenic, pesticides,etc. They also look at "gross alpha".
Last time they tested the water where I live, it came in 6 on a scale of 1 to 6. The water is from underground, and so it is clear that the radiation is coming from uranium, thorium and friends.
Since most minerals that are taken in by the body are also excreted, it makes sense to me that if I went and had my urine tested (using a test with sufficient resolution) that it is quite likely that uranium would be detected.
