Salmon Radiation Exposure

Is no one else on the Forum even remotely curious as to whether any salmon currently being caught in Alaska and sold locally contain dangerous levels of radiation from Fukushima?

Fukushima is FRIENDLY Radiation...

...and is therefore harmless, and detectable only by "experts" like BRAWM, who see no reason to do any ongoing testing. Only ADVERSARIAL radiation is harmful, and comes from China, Russia, North Korea, Iran or al-Qaeda dirty underpants bombs. Many years ago, before Chenobyl, I saw a video clip of an older woman shopping at a farmer's market in the Soviet Union - Geiger counter in hand. If you are one of the "concerned", you should probably do likewise - our "experts" CANNOT be relied upon.

Kid in a Candy Store

The Fukushima nuclear disaster Mid-March 2011 riveted humanity across Planet Earth. How could so many things go wrong at once? Each day brought a gloomy litany of earthquake, tsunami, meltdown, venting, and reactor explosion.

Time to stock the larder: The grocery store was mostly empty, so two (2) carts were filled with fresh, frozen, canned and dried foods. SOME portion of the world food supply would become contaminated by all that fallout. But that would take time. That day, EVERY product was safe and radionuclide free. The food was stored in freezer, fridge or pantry as appropriate. A spare freezer was plugged in to cool down as I headed back to the store for another load. More people were shopping, in bulk, and we went about our business. Some foods would become suspect with time, so I stocked up on Tuna, Pacific Salmon, Soy Sauce, Tea and DAIRY of every sort: cream, cheese, butter, ice-cream, sour cream, whipped cream, yogurt and more. I loaded up on frozen beef, pork, chicken and fish as well as fresh, frozen, canned and dried vegetables, fruit, spices, sauces and salsa.

Staples such as dried beans, rice, flour, corn meal were garnered, in the event of ‘an event’. It would be easy to drop any surplus off at a charity later, if unneeded. I was like a kid in a candy store; knowing the clean food bounty was OVER! And OVER it is. Then I went to the hardware store for HVAC filters, filter masks, water filters, duct tape, umbrellas, batteries, room air-filters, bottled water, fuel, bullets and other ‘possible-bag’ filler. No hurry, just focus and an early awareness that ‘truth’ was a likely 1st casualty in Fukushima. And there has been, ‘not a word of truth’ related to Fukushima from then until the present.

Good to go!
