IF TEPCO/Japan/IAEC/USA/GE had been more forthcoming, the solutions were at hand. The inherent design flaws of the GE Mark 1 ‘Containment System’ inadequacies have been known for decades, ignored and lied about. That reality notwithstanding, practical solutions were ‘in the can’ i.e. known.

A long dead friend, shared the ‘Fukushima Solution’ with me decades ago. There was no way, then or now, for my friend, his heirs (or me), to ‘get paid’ for the: simple, cheap & effective … ‘Fukushima Solution’. Oh and there was no way to know the ‘Fukushima Solution’ was required; due to the ongoing pattern of deception by: TEPCO, Japan, IAEC, NTBTO, Siemens, GE, AREVA, Toshiba, Hitachi and the USA.

So the Fukushima Daiichi multiple meltdown disaster occurred, unnecessarily, and the lying continued.

So the public health disaster occurred, unnecessarily, and the lying continues. TEPCO, Japan, IAEC, NTBTO, Siemens, GE, AREVA, Toshiba, Hitachi and the USA are collectively, not very smart. Stupid, willful killers, is a fair description, by my lights.
