Can I shower with tap water if I do not have a filter?

I have followed this forum and it looks people are recommending an activated charcoal filter for tap water.
Can I still take a shower until I can install a house filter?
I am scared that my skin will absorb some of the radioactive iodine in the tap water.
Did you see that cloud today, a mixture of silver/black in SF?
I am wondering whether anybody else noted this heavy kind of cloud today over San Francisco with a color of silver/black/dull white. It really looked terribly scary, it just did not feel like a regular cloud in S.F.
Did anybody notice that too?
WHat if this was a plutonium cloud? Would people who were within a 5 mile radius get radiation sickness?
How soon would we get sick, or would we not feel anything?
I am terrified. It just looked like a heavy smog cloud but different and did not go away even though the sun was there.

please research cloud seeding, or other weather modification, you will find many .gov sites relating to this topic. It is a conspiracy theory to you. Its well documented in governments around the world. China recently used cloud seeding to make it snow to relieve drought.

let's hope it was not plutonium because the silver/black dull white color reminded me of the silver black cloud that came out of the reactor last week, maybe plutonium takes longer to travel?

Its alot like a plane sky writing the clouds stay in the sky. If they were all contrails our skies would always be covered. There are thousands of planes flying the same route every day, thus there would be contrails everywhere. Just watch the skies and keep informed.

And to answer the original posters' question, apparently the recent tap water tests were barely detectable for iodine and not detectable for the other isotopes, thus, safe.
