Presented By

Zhong He, Ph.D
Professor
Department of Nuclear Engineering
and Radiological Sciences,
The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan

This presentation describes the research and development effort on 3-dimensional position-sensitive semiconductor gamma-ray imaging spectrometers at the University of Michigan. The latest progress on radiation detectors, readout electronics and image reconstruction will be reported. Applications in nuclear non-proliferation, homeland security, medical imaging and nuclear physics will be discussed.
