Career Fair Registration

NEW this year! The first day of the career fair will be open to UC Berkeley's general student population in addition to conference attendees. Career Fair publicity will be specifically targeted at graduates and undergraduates in engineering and the physical sciences, although business and liberal arts majors are invited to attend as well. The second day of the fair will be restricted to attendees of the ANS Student Conference. This allows organization representatives to focus more attention on students already interested in the nuclear sciences.

Employer registration for the two-day career fair is now $1500. The fee includes registration for all conference functions for two professionals and a copy of the conference Resume Book (CD or hard copy, as desired). Extra members of your company may be added for $200 each, and additional copies of the Resume Book may be purchased for $150 each. Included in the registration fee are one parking space, one 6-foot table, and chairs. Access to an electrical outlet can be arranged by request, and a shipping address will be provided for your displays. Please note that space is limited, and will fill on a first come, first served basis.

Graduate schools are also invited to staff a table at the career fair. There is no fee to host a graduate school booth at the career fair; however, representatives must register as a professional ($250) to attend the conference. A resume book is not included.

To register for the career fair, you must complete the following steps:
  1. (REQUIRED) One representative from your organization must register your organization with the UC Berkeley Career Center, which has graciously agreed to handle the logistics of the fair. Follow this link to their website and fill out the form. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide, confirming that we have received your information and giving you a reservation number (needed for Step 2).
  2. (REQUIRED) Complete your directory information at the Career Center website. Follow this link and enter the reservation number you received in Step 1. Students will not know you are attending the career fair unless you fill out this information!
  3. (REQUIRED for employers) If you are an employer, pay the registration fee. To pay by check, follow this link. To pay by credit card through PayPal, follow this link. If you are a graduate school, skip this step, but be sure that all of your representatives register for the conference (Step 4).
  4. (OPTIONAL for employers, REQUIRED for graduate schools) Have each of the representatives you are bringing register as a professional. Graduate school representatives need to pay the full $250 registration fee. Should one of your representatives be unable to attend after filling out the registration, simply have a new representative register and indicate in the comments section the name of the representative they are replacing.
