Strawberry Creek Water Sampling
The following are results for Strawberry Creek sampling beginning on 3/25/2011.
We are providing the activity concentration for I-131, Cs-137, and Te-132. While these elements are detectable, we have found considerable dilution from the results from direct rain water. The percentage number in parentheses represents the dilution percentage from rain water samples taken between 0 and 48 hours prior to the creek sample. The actual delay of rain to runoff is unknown at this point. The continued monitoring of this runoff will help to quantify this pathway.

Note: MDA stands for Minimum Detectable Activity. This is the lowest level of measurement where we can confidently report results.
Below are images of the location we sampled Strawberry Creek water. The location is just down stream of the famous Sather Gate Bridge on the north end of Sproul Plaza.
