Ryan M. Bergmannrmb@berkeley.edu |
Ryan is a Ph.D. student studying reactor analysis and numerical methods development. His current research involves high conversion ratio light water reactors and GPU-accelerated 3D method of characteristics (MOC) and monte carlo transport codes.
Ryan graduated from MIT in 2008 with a B.S. in nuclear engineering. He worked with the Levitated Dipole eXperiment studying plasma wave interactions, and obtained his M.S. in nuclear engineering from MIT in 2009. He is also a member of Alpha Nu Sigma, the nuclear science and engineering national honor society.
