Teaching and Research: 

Professor Norman has performed research in homeland security, neutrino physics, and nuclear astrophysics. He is the co-discoverer of 4 isotopes.

Current Research Focus: 

Cryogenic Underground Observatory for Rare Events (CUORE) – a large-scale bolometric detector designed to search for the neutrinoless double beta decay of 130Te.

Measurements of neutron and charged-particle induced reaction cross sections for homeland security, nuclear astrophysics, and neutrino physics.

Gamma-ray measurements for nuclear forensic applications
