NE Student Hi Vo Wins First Place Poster at the 2014 ANS Winter Meeting

UC Berkeley Department of Nuclear Engineering undergraduate student Hi Vo won Best Undergraduate Research poster at the 2014 American Nuclear Society Winter Meeting and Nuclear Technology Expo in Anaheim, CA in November.  Hi's winning poster is entitled "The Development of Microcompression Testing at Elevated Temperatures".  Congratulations Hi!

 


Peter Hosemann appointed to Advisory Editorial Board of the Journal of Nuclear Materials

Prof Peter Hosemann was appointed as member of the Advisory Editorial Board of the Journal of Nuclear Materials (an Elsevier Journal) in November 2014.

In this function, Prof Hosemann is dedicated to maintain the quality of the journal while providing insight to specific scientific topics for the Editors, and which will help grow the Journal's community.

 


Peter Hosemann to Receive Two Awards at the 2015 TMS Meeting

Peter Hosemann Wins Top Reviewer Award

Professor Peter Hosemann received an award for exceptional contribution to the quality of the Journal of Nuclear Materials and was rated the top reviewer in 2013.  The award was presented to Professor Hosemann on October 27 at NuMat 2014: The Nuclear Materials Conference in Clearwater, Florida.
