Speaker Biography

Hiroshi Sekimoto is a professor in the Research Laboratory for Nuclear Reactors, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and also Director of Center for Research into Innovative Nuclear Energy System. BS, 1968, and MS, 1970, Kyoto University, Japan; Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley, 1974. His current interests include conceptual design study of innovative reactors, and recently he is working mostly on CANDLE reactors.
