Speaker Biography
Commander Nathan Martin currently serves as Commanding Officer, USS San Francisco (SSN 711).
Commander Martin has served at sea on both fast-attack and fleet ballistic missile submarines. He was Engineer Officer during the commissioning of USS Seawolf (SSN 21), and took part in strategic deterrent patrols as the Executive Officer of USS Nebraska (SSN 739 BLUE).
He has degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University and Business Administration from the University of Rochester. He is the recipient of multiple awards and medals.
