All major energy resources are set to peak and go into terminal decline within the next 20 years. How can we meet this challenge? What forms of energy will sustain us? What are the implications for our way of life, and for the future of humanity? Nelder attempts to answer these critical and urgent questions.

Speaker Biography

Chris Nelder is a writer, energy consultant, solar designer, and online publisher. A former software engineer, Chris realized that peak oil was nearly upon us after 9/11, and has been researching and writing about energy ever since. He now consults and speaks about energy and investing, writes a weekly column for EnergyAndCapital.com, and blogs at GetRealList.com. His first book, Profit from the Peak, came out in May 2008 and his second, Investing in Renewable Energy, came out in October.
